Our journey began when life showed us something interesting: as we get older, connecting on a deeper level with others becomes a little tougher. The ease of sharing deep thoughts and feelings somehow got tangled in the busyness of adult life. We live in a society where the pace can be relentless and true connections can sometimes feel distant, this is why we stand for something profoundly simple: to live with intentionality and inspire you to make conscious choices that prioritize genuine connections.

When we had an idea to start a brand, we knew from the get-go that we didn't want it to just be another brand. Instead, we wanted to personify the brand we created to be someone that was genuine, loving, kind and also a great listener. This was when we realised - hey, all of our friends with the name 'Abigail' are exactly who we hope our brand would be like... and that led to the beginning of abbey

We are so excited to get our products to your doorstep, thus, we are working hard to process orders within 3-5 business days (unless otherwise stated). If your parcel is small, it may be delivered to your letterbox. ​ Deliveries may take longer than the time frames specified during peak periods like sales and product launches. Please be patient with us even as we endeavor to get all orders delivered as soon as possible.

Currently, we only ship locally in Singapore and do not ship overseas. However, we are actively working on expanding our shipping options to include international destinations. Stay tuned for updates on our global shipping capabilities in the near future!

We recommend checking the shipping confirmation email you received, as it contains a tracking number that provides the latest updates on your parcel's journey. Do check your mailbox too as it may be delivered there if your parcel is small. We completely understand that life can get busy, and you may not always be available to physically receive your parcel. Good news – if your parcel is small, our packages are designed to fit snugly into standard letterboxes, making it convenient for you. Just a friendly reminder to check that your letterbox has enough space and isn't too full to ensure a smooth and secure delivery. In the event of an unsuccessful delivery (i.e. letterbox is full); doorstep delivery attempts will be made. In the event delivery is unsuccessful, our courier will leave a delivery advice at your doorstep to inform you. If you have placed a large order, you may need to receive your parcel physically.

Do note that shipping delays may occur for delivery address amendments, and if your order has been picked up by the courier and delivered, you may need to incur additional charges for another delivery.

If you happen to receive a faulty or damaged item, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please connect with us promptly, and we'll do our utmost to address the issue by offering a replacement or refund at the earliest opportunity. While there are many fantastic options out there, there are 3 features we love the most about abbey conversation cards: Firstly, it is our diverse range of meaningful topics like love, work, family, life and society. Secondly, we weaved in an element of 'play'. Other than answering the questions, you can build a path of connection using the back of the cards. Lastly, you get to set the pace of connection. Not everyone feels comfortable jumping into heavy topics, which is why you have the autonomy to choose the questions you feel most comfortable with, and there are action cards in place to skip questions too. We won't claim the title of being the best conversation starter card game, but we simply hope that our cards will help to inspire intentional conversations with your friends and loved ones.

Generally, a group of 3-4 friends would play for about 1-2 hours. However, there is no limit or recommended duration. If you would like to play for a longer duration, you can either place each start cards further from one another or divert the points and avoid meeting each others' paths.

If you do not feel comfortable answering any questions that you may receive or asking any questions that you have on your hand, feel free to swap them out with another set of cards. There is no need to strictly follow our rulebook as our main priority is to help create a safe space for conversations.

Feel free to place them anywhere you'd like. However, do note that the further you place them apart, the longer it will take for the paths to meet and for the game to end (then again, you can always just shift them closer mid-way if you would like to end the game soon).

Our conversation cards are designed to be played with just about anyone. It's great game to bring to a gathering with friends, family night with your loved ones, cell group with your church friends or even to a date with someone special. You'll soon realize that even though there are only 150 cards in our deck, but everyone answers each question differently based on their experiences, values and relationship with you. That's what we love so much about our conversation cards - being able to play it with just about anybody and hearing their stories.
